This Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Policy ("Policy") sets out the obligations of lambabet, operated by White Crown Limitada (Costa Rica) and licensed under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005 of the State of Anjouan, with respect to the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crime. The Policy applies to all players accessing lamba-bet.fr and governs how lambabet collects, verifies, and monitors customer information throughout the account lifecycle.
lambabet operates under the Anjouan gaming licence issued pursuant to the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005. As a condition of that licence, and as part of our broader ethical commitment to safe and transparent gaming, we maintain a robust AML/KYC programme aligned with internationally recognised standards, including the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
White Crown Limitada, as the responsible operator of lamba-bet.fr, is committed to ensuring that the platform is not used — directly or indirectly — for money laundering, the financing of terrorism, fraud, or any other financial crime. This commitment applies to every person who registers, deposits, plays, or withdraws on lamba-bet.fr, regardless of the payment method, currency, or jurisdiction from which they connect.
This Policy applies to:
lambabet applies a risk-based approach to KYC. Identity verification is required in the following circumstances, at minimum:
Players are advised to submit their verification documents proactively upon registration to avoid any delay to the payout process. lambabet aims to process withdrawals within two banking days once KYC is cleared and the applicable wagering requirement on the deposited funds has been met (minimum three times the deposited amount).
To complete standard Customer Due Diligence, lambabet will request the following categories of documentation:
| Category | Acceptable Documents | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Proof of Identity (POI) | Government-issued passport; national identity card; driver's licence (with photograph) | Confirms legal name, date of birth, and nationality |
| Proof of Address (POA) | Utility bill (gas, electricity, water); bank statement; official government correspondence — dated within the last three months | Confirms residential address and physical presence |
| Payment Method Verification | Photo of card (first six and last four digits visible; CVV obscured); screenshot of e-wallet account; crypto wallet address confirmation | Confirms ownership of the payment method used |
| Selfie / Liveness Check | Clear photograph of the customer holding their identity document, or a guided liveness verification as directed | Confirms the account holder is the same person as the document owner |
All documents must be clear, legible, unedited, and in colour where applicable. lambabet reserves the right to reject documents that are blurred, cropped, or otherwise unclear, and to request alternatives.
Where a customer's deposit activity, withdrawal history, or overall account behaviour exceeds defined risk thresholds, lambabet will request evidence to establish the legitimacy of the funds used for gambling. This may include, but is not limited to:
Failure to provide satisfactory Source of Funds documentation within a reasonable timeframe will result in the suspension of withdrawals and, where warranted, account restriction or closure.
lambabet accepts Bitcoin, USDT, and additional cryptocurrencies as listed in the cashier. Customers who deposit using cryptocurrency will withdraw in cryptocurrency — cross-method settlement between fiat and crypto is not permitted. For cryptocurrency accounts, KYC obligations remain identical to those for fiat accounts. lambabet may additionally request:
lambabet does not accept deposits from mixing services, tumblers, or any obfuscation technology designed to conceal the origin of cryptocurrency.
lambabet prohibits gambling by persons under the age of 18. Age verification forms an integral part of the KYC process. All customers must confirm they are at least 18 years of age upon registration. Where there is any reasonable doubt about a customer's age, lambabet will suspend deposit and withdrawal functionality until appropriate Proof of Identity confirming date of birth has been reviewed and approved. Any winnings accrued by a player who is found to be underage will be forfeited, and the account will be closed immediately. lambabet cooperates fully with any referral to the appropriate authorities in such cases.
lambabet applies Enhanced Due Diligence when one or more of the following conditions are identified:
Enhanced Due Diligence measures may include any combination of the following:
lambabet screens all customers against recognised PEP databases at the point of registration and on an ongoing basis. A PEP is not automatically prohibited from holding an account at lamba-bet.fr; however, their account will always be subject to Enhanced Due Diligence and will require senior management approval for the relationship to be maintained. Any customer who becomes a PEP after registration must notify lambabet promptly. lambabet reserves the right to close or restrict accounts where appropriate EDD cannot be satisfactorily completed.
lambabet screens all customers and, where relevant, their associated parties, against applicable international sanctions lists, including those maintained by the United Nations, the European Union, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other relevant regulatory bodies. Customers who appear on any sanctions list will have their accounts blocked immediately, funds frozen where required by law, and the matter reported to the appropriate authority. lambabet will not knowingly process any transaction that would breach applicable sanctions obligations.
KYC is not a one-time event. lambabet conducts continuous monitoring of account activity to detect patterns or anomalies that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crime. Our transaction monitoring programme considers, amongst other factors:
All flagged activity is reviewed by the compliance team and, where appropriate, escalated to the MLRO.
Any member of staff — or any automated monitoring system — that identifies activity believed to constitute money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud is required to report it internally to the MLRO immediately. The MLRO will assess the report and determine whether it is necessary to file an external report with the competent authority.
lambabet maintains a strict policy of non-disclosure ("tipping off"): no customer will be informed that a SAR has been filed, or that an investigation is under way, where such disclosure would prejudice the investigation. Employees who fail to report known or suspected ML/TF activity, or who tip off a customer, are subject to disciplinary action and may face personal legal liability.
lambabet retains all KYC documentation, transaction records, account activity logs, and compliance correspondence for a minimum period of five years from the date of account closure or from the date of the last transaction, whichever is the later. Records are stored securely and are accessible to the MLRO and, upon lawful request, to the relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities. Document types retained include, but are not limited to:
lambabet enforces strict payment method controls to reduce the risk of financial crime. The following rules apply to all accounts on lamba-bet.fr:
lambabet's promotional framework — including the four-deposit casino welcome package (525% up to €8,000 + 475 free spins), the sports welcome freebet pack (300% up to €750), the Live Casino welcome bonus (100% up to €1,000), and weekly promotions — is subject to strict monitoring for abuse. The following activities are treated as potential indicators of financial misconduct and may trigger a KYC or AML review:
Bonuses obtained fraudulently will be voided, associated winnings forfeited, and the account may be closed. Where the behaviour indicates a wider pattern of financial crime, a SAR will be filed.
lambabet recognises that problem gambling and financial crime can be interconnected. Customers who exhibit signs of disordered gambling — including depositing funds substantially beyond their stated means, frequent requests to reverse withdrawals, or erratic account behaviour — may be subject to additional Source of Funds checks as part of both our responsible gambling obligations and our AML programme. Players who wish to manage their play are encouraged to contact our 24/7 support team via live chat or by emailing [email protected]. Self-exclusion, deposit limits, session limits, and account cooling-off periods are available on request.
All employees and contractors who handle customer accounts, payments, or compliance functions at lambabet receive training on this Policy prior to commencing their role, and on a regular recurring basis thereafter. Training covers:
Training records are maintained and made available to the regulator upon request.
lambabet applies a risk-based approach to all AML and KYC activity. Not all customers present the same level of risk, and our controls are calibrated accordingly. Risk factors assessed include, but are not limited to:
Higher-risk profiles receive proportionately more rigorous due diligence. Risk assessments are reviewed periodically and whenever material new information comes to light.
lambabet reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently close any account where:
Where an account is closed under this Policy, any balance held will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and our regulatory obligations — which may include retaining funds pending investigation or reporting. lambabet is not liable for any financial loss a customer suffers as a result of account restriction or closure that is carried out in good faith pursuant to this Policy.
Players with questions about their KYC status, outstanding document requests, or this Policy should contact the lambabet compliance team in the first instance:
Compliance escalations and MLRO matters are handled internally by White Crown Limitada's designated compliance function. lambabet will respond to KYC-related queries as promptly as operational timelines allow, and in any event within the timeframes required by our licence conditions.
This Policy is reviewed at least annually by the MLRO and senior management of White Crown Limitada, or sooner in the event of material changes to applicable law, regulatory guidance, or the risk environment in which lamba-bet.fr operates. The most current version of this Policy is always published on lamba-bet.fr. Continued use of lamba-bet.fr constitutes acceptance of the Policy as in force at the time of use.
